The presence of Unistara not only in industrial applications such as iron and steel, aluminium, foundry, ceramics and bricks, incineration, glass, petrochemical and forging but also in other no less important sectors such as the food sector (industrial ovens for the production of frozen bakery products, jams, etc.), shipbuilding and fire protection (insulation of bridges and bulkheads, air ducts, electrical ducts), sugar and lime factories, cremation plants (animal and human), household appliances.

The quality of Unistara’s products has undoubtedly been one of the most important reasons for its success since 1984.
A specific range of products is dedicated to each industrial sector, including castables and other unformed refractories , refractory formats, insulating products and anchors. Some lines of accessory products that vary from sector to sector must be added to these such as, for example, products for filtering aluminium, expendables for glassworks, products for continuous casting, ceramic rollers, etc.
Dense castables and other unformed refractories
Low cement content, self-flowing castables, cements, mortars, plasters, gunning mixes, pressed and plastic, aluminium resistant, silica-alumina, super alumina, siliceous, based on quartzite or calcium aluminate, with silicon carbide additives, zirconium, chromium. Wear-resistant products.
Insulating castables and other unformed insulating refractories

Dense and insulating shaped refractories

Ceramic anchors
Alumina, silica-alumina anchors, in cordierite and cordierite mullite.
Metallic anchors
Metallic anchors, caps, vault crossings, load bearing, in steel AISI 304, 310, Inconel and cast parts. Design and manufacture of custom-made anchors.
