1. Cookies policy

Cookies are small files functioning as information technology users. They are sent by a server to user internet browser when user accesses a webpage. Cookies are automatically stored by browser and transmitted to the server that produced them everytime the user has access to the same webpage. By doing this they enable and / or make easier the access to some webpages to better surfing the internet or they memorize webpages and other specifical information (i.e. most seen webpages , connection errors etc). For a more complete ad easier use of Unistara webpage it is best to set up browser to accept cookies.

Often browser are set up to automatically accept cokies, however users can change the default set up to disable or cancel cookies ( each time or once and for all) but the use of some areas of the website could not be seen or work properly. It is possible to check types of cookies stored on its own browser by modifying set up of the cookies on browser itself.

2. Type and management of Cookie

1. Technical cookies

a. essential cookies: they are vital for accessing a website and its functions. For example to enable a correct visualization or access to reserved areas. Disabling these cookies makes you not access to these activities.

b. analytics cookies: they collect information on the efficiency of the website response by users anonimously, to better its functionality. For example what pages are more accessed by user, if there are errors or slowing down.

c. functional cookies: they enable webpage to remember the choices made by the user and propose them again to have better and more personalized services: they can be used to propose similar contents to the ones requested by user previously.

2. Market Reserarch / Advert Cookies

They are used to offer user adverts relevant to their interests as observed while surfing the net. They are used to limit a certain advert ot to understand the efficiency of a marketing campaign by the frequency of its visualisation. These cookies can be made by third parties, from advertisers as well. User can decide whether to accept or not them by expressing their consent (“opt in”) before receiving them.

Google Analytics

Unistara website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service supplied by Google Inc. that stores cookies on user computer to check the way the “client” uses the website. General information recorded by cookies on use of the website will be transmitted to a Google server where they will be analyzed to issue reports on visitors’ acivities. IP address tranmitted by user browser to Google Analytics will not be associated to other datas owned by Google.

User can block recording of cookies by modifying browser software settings but this could disable correct functioning of some pages. User can block registration of data made by cookies and regarding its activities on the site ( including IP Address) on google plus the processinf of these data by Google by downloading and installinfg browser plugin available at following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.

By using the site, user accepts use of personal data by google with aforementioned methods and purposes.

Cookie disabling (opt-out)

User can disable already sent cookies (opt-out). L’opt-out is for technical cookies (art. 122 re Code ), and for all cookies not enclosed in technial cookies alreay accepted (opt in) by user.

Thanks to this distinction user can disable and / or cancel cookies (opt-out) by relevant browser settings and disable / cancel single non technical cookies made by third parties by accessing, for Eurpean Union users, to European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website www.youronlinechoices.eu and for U.S. users to address http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Amove mentioned websites are not managed by Owner, who will not have any responsibility regardings relevant contents.
